Inca is the result of the litter from Gina (above) and Lynwater Atlantic Crossing of Crookrise. She started her show career well by qualifying for Crufts at 6 months old. She then went on to win well at Open Shows gaining many Best Gundog Puppy and Best Puppy in Show awards. Her career has continued with many wins at Championship Shows and in 2004 she won two Reserve Challenge Certificates under breed specialists - one at Border Union Championship Show under breed specialist Maggie Northcott and one at Leeds Championship Show under Erica Parsons. Most recently in 2005 she took the Reserve Challenge Certificate at the Pointer Club of Scotland Championship show under another breed specialist, Ria Nelis as well as going Best In Show at The Pointer Club of Scotland Open Show under judge Flo Barker . Inca also took time out to have a litter of pups by Calderside Great Gatsby, some of which have been successfully shown this year. (see below - The Next Generation)

Having not settled in his first home, Inca's brother, Jacob came back to Raigmore. At the time we we did not wish to keep another male dog and he subsequently went to Des McGarry of the world famous Toberdoney kennels. Des has campaigned him well with many wins at Championship Shows, gaining his Junior Warrant in October 2002. To date he has won the following awards:

'Liver & white, beautiful head and eye, melting expression, neat well-placed ears, long arched neck, correct lay of shoulder, deep in chest & ribs carried well back, good width of thigh, nice turn of stifle, lovely head carriage, one of the few who used his tail, moves on a free stride, was one of the few I considered for a higher award.'

We wish them all every success!

Prior to his leaving he was mated to our Toberdoney Jessica at Raigmore (Ziggy) and Raigmore Water Lily has been retained from this litter.

Ibsen has also sired his first litter in Australia to Australian Champion Tukeglen Quite Rite.

Here's a picture of a son from this litter  - Wallace (Gaelforce Flyin Scotsman)
